Elite Coverage : $500
One of the most common frustrations for a writer is that after convincing a reputable company to read their script, they will either not hear back or they will get a one sentence response that their project “is not what we’re looking for at the moment.”
This result can leave a writer feeling confused and stuck with no place to go.
What’s happened? The studio or production company has had a reader cover your script, and they have written “Pass” coverage. As you probably know, coverage is a document that includes detailed analysis of the script that reviews things like character, storyline, artistic and commercial viability, and overall recommendation.
Like it or not, your project is judged based entirely on this document. But you never get to see this document that is the decider of your project’s future, which means you do not know how to improve your project so it will become a go-picture.
What is unique about Think Hollywood is that you have the ability to see real working coverage from a Hollywood insider. What that means to you is not being left frustrated and wondering. And what that really means to you is knowing exactly where you stand and what you need to do to be successful.
Think Hollywood’s Elite Coverage is a premium service– you receive a document between 6-10 pages long, written by a trained story analyst and carefully reviewed by a Think Hollywood development executive to maximize clarity, depth of thought, and helpfulness of the analysis.
At that point, your project either “needs revision” or is a “recommend”. If your project needs revision, you are eligible for a complimentary, up-to 30 minute follow up session, with your development executive to discuss actionable next steps in a specific roadmap to bring your project to a “recommend”.
If your project is a recommend, you will receive a COMPLIMENTARY consultation with your producer to discuss a game plan to bring your project to the screen.
Story Development Worksession : $100 hr or 3 hours for $200
A Think Hollywood story Development Executive can be made available to help move forward a project that gets stuck mid draft and to also give advice on how to best move forward with feedback, especially if the feedback came from outside sources which can often be confusing and potentially destructive to your story without the proper guidance.
Script Breakdown : $750
A Breakdown is an advanced scene by scene tracking system of your script, kind of like a Table of Contents that is made by compilation of scene synopses. Breakdowns are a great way to see if your story is clear on a beat by beat level and also help you keep organized as you undertake larger structural work on your script.
Our development execs can also track and give notes on specific story lines or elements (relationships, specific conflicts, devices, etc…) for an additional $50 per element.
One of the best proven ways to quickly take your project from rough draft to final polish so you can get it set up and sold quickly.
Page Notes: $4 per page
An industry standard approach to addressing what is and isn’t working page by page so you have an even better understanding where your script needs to go.
Advanced Polish Notes : $10 per page
Due to our development executives advanced development skill set, we are offering detailed polish notes that are generally reserved for established, working writers (that pay their personal editors a ton of money!).
