WHAT IS COVERAGE?
As you probably know, coverage is a document that includes detailed analysis of the script that reviews things like character, storyline, artistic and commercial viability, and overall recommendation.
Like it or not, when you send your script to a company for review, your project is judged based entirely on this document by industry professionals. But you never get to see this document that is the decider of your project’s future, which means you do not know how to improve your project so it will become a go-project.
What is unique about Think Hollywood is that you have the ability to see real working coverage from a Hollywood insider. What that means to you is not being left frustrated and wondering. And what that really means to you is knowing exactly where you stand and what you need to do to be successful.

Think Hollywood’s Elite Coverage is a premium service– you receive a detailed document, written by a trained Story Analyst and then carefully reviewed by a Think Hollywood Development Executive to maximize clarity, depth of thought, and helpfulness of the analysis.
That means, at Think Hollywood, we take the time to have multiple story professionals work on your coverage so the coverage is as insightful as possible!
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS OF COVERAGE:
Beyond the usefulness of seeing how your script will be rated if it is sent around Hollywood, there is another huge advantage of getting your script “covered”.
And that is the ability to see if an industry standard story analyst (we use the same analysts you are going to get when you submit to a studio, network, production company, or agency) understands what is going on in your script.
So if an analyst doesn’t get what you are going for — that is a clear indicator that something can be reworked to better capture your vision.
HOW TO GET COVERAGE ON YOUR SCRIPT:
To move the Elite Coverage process forward, you first need to send your script in pdf. form to coverage@thinkhollywood.org.
Once your script has been received and confirmed that the PDF document is in good working order, you will receive an email with a link detailing how to schedule when you will receive your coverage and have your complimentary strategy session with a development exec to review your coverage and discuss next steps for development.
Please note – because our analysts and executives put so much work into each coverage, we need at least two weeks to prepare your Elite Coverage.
You receive your Elite Coverage before your scheduled meeting with your Development Exec, so you have time to digest and “sleep-on” your coverage before interacting with a development executive.
As with your pitch session with your producer, you will need to complete the scheduling questions and payment information before anything will be scheduled.
